The Best of My Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes
Unlike Christmas, I think Thanksgiving is more about the smells & scents than the lights and flash. If you agree, you will love the smells that waft through the house with some of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes.
This is the BEST cranberry sauce recipe hands down! How do I know, well I’ve been making this for
years and bringing it to family functions. So much so that I’ve become known for this recipe. As a matter of fact, I may or may not have told people that it’s “my recipe”. Anyway, try it and you will know why people rave about it and why it’s numero uno on my list.
For years people have raved about Deep Fried Turkey, and don’t get me wrong it’s DELICIOUS. But Grilled Turkey is a close second. You get a smoky flavor infused into the turkey meat. And it gets you out of the house for awhile too.
I’m down for any recipe that will cook itself. And this Crockpot Macaroni & Cheese fits the bill quite nicely. Plus the mac keeps warmer longer.
This is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES for Thanksgiving. My husband isn’t into it but the crunchy fried onions on top are just heavenly to me.
Now I have to admit, Sweet Potatoes are not the first thing I reach for at Thanksgiving. So it would be missed if it wasn't on the table. My husband makes them pretty sweet with orange juice & brown sugar. I think he leaves out the walnuts though.
Do you call it stuffing or dressing? My daughter says it depends on whether you are stuffing it into a turkey or not. Well, either way, this recipe brings back my childhood and watching my cousin Prudence make this amazing side dish.
It might be a little too early for Egg Nog, but we need something sweet to make this Thanksgiving coma complete. This Apple Pie recipe will do quite nicely.
Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes
The best thing about my favorite Thanksgiving recipes is that most of them are super simple to make. A few are even set and forget.

So even though I can’t be with my family & friends this year, #2020, these recipes will make me think of them, and look forward to spending time with them next year.
